Biodiversity Conservation: Herpetological Surveys

Amphibians and reptiles are some of Africa’s least studied taxa despite their surrogate role in impact studies. Their being both ground-dwelling (in some cases) as well as slow moving increases their susceptibility especially to wild fires among other development hazards. At Eco-Trends, herpetiles are a treasured niche of study priority, during and post development projects. With team personnel having worked in Africa’s remotest areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo, this bares testimony to the robustness and resilience to provide desired responses to any questions that may arise among studies on Africa’s cryptic reptiles and amphibians.
